A capital advisory firm that also moves freight is an unusual combination, and leaving it off the site would be the easy choice. It is on the site because it is true, because clients find out anyway, and because it is genuinely useful context.
The transportation operation came first. It has customers, equipment, and the same problems every operator in the sector has: receivables that arrive later than payroll, equipment decisions with long consequences, and margins that punish sloppy pricing.
Running it is the reason we can talk about equipment finance and receivables timing from the inside. When we tell a carrier what a factoring arrangement will actually do to their margin, that is not theory.
It is one activity of the firm. Oakspire Group is a business growth and capital advisory firm, and the transportation operation sits inside that, not the other way around.

- The advisory side of the firm works with transportation businesses on equipment finance, receivables facilities, and the decision of whether to add a truck or fix utilisation on the ones you have. Frequently the answer is the second one.
Adding a truck is a capital decision. Keeping the ones you have busy is usually a better one.
